Advising

NYSID has a full staff of advisors who are here to help students with their academic needs and concerns. Whether taking a class nonmatriculated or in a degree program each student is assigend an advisor that they can turn to for help with scheduling, transfer credit, and academic counseling. Located in the Dean's Office, the advising staff is available by phone, email, and one-on-one apointments.

Tutoring

Sometimes students need academic help beyond the classroom. That's why NYSID offers free tutoring to all who need it. These individual sessions are led by upper-level undergraduate and graduate students and are held in NYSID's beautiful atelier. Tutoring in all academic areas is offered.
