BOOKSTOREThe welcoming, street-level bookstore is open to the public as well as to students. The store offers books from major publishers on interior design, architecture, and the decorative arts in addition to textbooks, art supplies, and school-related merchandise. In conjunction with public lectures, the bookstore is the venue for book signings by leading designer/authors in interior design and architecture, furniture design, garden design, and home furnishings. New books include Albert Hadley: Drawings and the Design Process, published by NYSID, and Color in Interior Design, by faculty member Ethel Rompilla. The bookstore is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, while classes are in session and closed Sundays and holidays. |
