Shaun FillionProgram Director: Shaun Fillion
MFA, California Institute of the Arts
BFA, New York University

Shaun Fillion, LC MIES, is an award winning lighting designer with two decades of lighting design experience and a decade of experience as an educator. Fillion was recognized with an Illumination Award (Grace Church, NYC), the IESNA Section Service Award and the Princess Grace Award. As Lighting Studio Manager for RAB Lighting, Shaun Fillion is responsible for meeting performance targets for the studio, providing guidance and growth. Fillion is secretary of the IES Progress Committee and the Libraries RP committee, as well as advisory member of the Residential Lighting Committee. Fillion serves on the board of managers for the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of North America, New York City Chapter, and serves as adviser to the Student Lighting Competition Committee. He is a certified instructor for AGi32.


Charles CameronCharles Cameron
Charles is a controls specialist at Stan Deutsch Associates. His work has been exhibited at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. Widely regarded as an expert in energy-efficient lighting, he was the president of the New York City chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and a director of the Green Light NY Lighting Resource Center. He received his MFA from New York University and a BA from Drew University.




Eric Chenault

Eric Chenault
BFA, North Carolina School of the Arts

Eric Chenault, LC, LEED AP, has over two decades of experience lighting everything from intimate residences to full city masterplans. His design practice focuses on light + health in applications and research. He is among the first designers to advocate for circadian balanced lighting and quality of the light spectrum in our environments. He received his BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts.  

 


Jeff Hoenig
MFA, University of Illinois
BA, Susquehanna University

Jeff Hoenig is a lighting designer and educator.  His interest in lighting grew from his work in theater, and he earned his MFA in lighting design from the theater department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Jeff shifted disciplines when he joined Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design in 2007, where he now serves as an associate.  At CBB, he works on a wide variety of projects, and his primary areas of focus include exterior lighting, commercial office towers, and educational facilities. Jeff’s work with CBB have earned numerous awards, including two IESNYC Lumen Awards.

Jeff is a member of the faculty of the New York School of Interior Design, teaching lighting studio classes in the BFA and MFA Interior Design programs, as well as a number of classes the MPS-L program focused on design, source selection, and the business of lighting.  Additionally, he serves as co-chair of the Education Committee for the IES NYC section.  He still gets his hands dirty as an overhire electrician at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

 


Jason Livingston

BFA, University of Miami
MFA, New York University

Jason is the principal of Studio T+L, LLC. With over 20 years of experience as an architectural and theatrical lighting designer and theatre consultant, he has designed projects ranging from 99 seat black box theatres to 4,100 seat municipal theatres. His architectural lighting design encompasses high-end retail, university libraries, performing arts, and corporate facilities. He was awarded a 2012 Award of Merit by the IES for relighting the University Church at Fordham University and a 2003 Lumen Award by the New York Section of the IES for his work on Rewarding Lives for American Express in New York City. His work has been profiled in Lighting & Sound America, Lighting Design + Application, Design Bureau, and Architectural SSL.


Daniel Rogers

Daniel Rogers, LC, IES, LEEP AP
BAE, Pennsylvania State University

Daniel Rogers has over 22 years of experience in the lighting industry as lighting designer, manufacturer, sales rep, teacher, and consultant.  He currently serves as ICF Lighting Technical Lead for ENERGY STAR product specification development, providing technical expertise to EPA on lamp and luminaire product design, efficiency metrics, and test procedures. He is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP), is a member of the NCQLP Examination Committee, and is a United States Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.


Marty Salzberg,  IALD MIES 
Marty Salzberg worked as an architectural lighting consultant for more than thirty years. Her work was honored with multiple industry awards for design and energy efficiency. As a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, Marty has been a member of the Library Lighting Committee since 2003 and is currently the Chair. She is a Professional Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), where she is an active member of the Energy & Sustainability Committee and serves as the IALD representative to the ASHRAE/IES 90.1 code committee. Marty also serves on the IALD Specification Integrity Task Force and as the IALD representative to the Department of Energy Commercial Codes Advisory Committee. Outside the world of lighting, Marty is completing her first year as an ESL tutor in her community.

Melanie Taylor

Melanie Taylor 
Melanie Taylor brings over 20 years of lighting design experience with focus on integrated, conceptual, complex commercial projects. She is currently the national leader of BuildingsUSA Lighting Design for WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff and practice leader for the New York City Lighting Design studio.



Peiheng Tsang

Peiheng Tsai 
Peiheng Tsai is the principal of PHT Lighting Design Inc., an award winning lighting design firm based in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree, as well as the Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design degree from Columbia University.
