The healthcare industry is rapidly expanding to accommodate the growing needs of the aging baby boomer generation and the global population explosion.
In response, NYSID has created an innovative, interdisciplinary program that provides designers an opportunity to learn from practicing healthcare designers, engineers, Capital Projects team members in healthcare institutions, and healthcare environment researchers. The result is curriculum that provides a broad knowledge of current issues, research, and theory in the design of healthcare interiors that is applied in focused studio experiences.
