Daniel Rogers has over 27 years of experience in the lighting industry as lighting designer, manufacturer, sales rep, teacher, and consultant. He currently serves as ICF Lighting Technical Lead for ENERGY STAR product specification development, providing technical expertise to EPA on lamp and luminaire product design, efficiency metrics, and test procedures. He is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP), is Chair of the NCQLP Examination Committee, and is a United States Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.

A German native, Stefan is an award-winning master craftsman in tailoring and pattern making who earned his MFA in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. He began his career at S. Russell Groves in New York and later worked for several prestigious firms such as Pierce Allen, Selldorf Architects, and MR Architecture & Decor. He founded his own firm Steilish Interiors & Architecture in 2012.
Freya has been teaching design history at NYSID since 2007. She teaches Historical Styles I and II and Design Theory, and has taught elective courses on Great Women Designers, Technology in Design, and The Habsburg Empire. Van Saun received a BA in Restoration and Connoisseurship of the Decorative Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an MA from Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts.
Mark Wright, AIA is a registered architect with 35 years of professional experience and an active private practice. He holds a BA in Architecture, Art, and Art History, and B.Arch, both from Rice University. As an architectural historian he has focused on the American architect H. H. Richardson.
