Wei-Chia (Sherry) Lin

Sherry Lin has practiced lighting design for over 24 years and has won numerous design awards in the past decades. Before embarking on her career in lighting design, she worked as an architect and interior designer in Asia. She holds a BA degree in Architectural and Urban Planning and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design.

Over the years of practice, her experience spans a wide range of projects, from small- to large-scale, in commercial interiors, hospitality, healthcare, religious, transportation, civic/cultural, historic preservation, parks, streetscapes, education, corporate facilities, and museums. Building façades and landscape illuminations are also within her expertise. Apart from having excellent lighting fundamentals, Sherry’s forte is demonstrating a design approach grounded in her architectural experience and insight into lighting design. While she appreciates the creative aspects of design, she also makes sure the designs are buildable and within budget.

Sherry is a Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) and is a United States Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
