Elizabeth is an interior designer with 10 years of professional experience in residential and commercial design. She holds a MFA in Interior Design from New York School of Interior Design and a BS in Architecture from The University of Michigan.
David Bergman is the founder of DavidBergmanEco, author of Sustainable Design: A Critical Guide and the blog EcoOptimism, which is dedicated to the belief that positive, often symbiotic, solutions exist to our environmental and economic issues. He is on the Executive Board of the NYC 2030 District and a trustee of Yale Blue Green as well as a former executive board member of the Designers Lighting Forum of New York and a former president of Furniture New York. He holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton and a BA from Yale.
Reid is a partner at Ageloff & Associates. His career began in Atlanta where he started to put his interest in sustainability into practice. Before settling into the residential sector, he worked on sustainability initiatives for the design and construction of the 2nd Avenue Subway. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Cooper Union and a Master of Architecture degree from Georgia Tech.
Ray is a teacher and writer living in New York City. He has taught various English courses at NYSID since 2004. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from City College and a BA in British Literature from Hunter College. He also has a CELTA certification for the international instruction of ESL.
Jeffri is an interior designer who has worked on residential projects all over the US; from single family residences to multi-million-dollar estates. He believes that everyone deserves well thought out, functional design that makes their lives easier, efficient, and beautiful. He has taught residential design studios, architectural woodwork detailing, kitchen and bath design, and drafting at NYSID.
Bethany is an associate at CookFox Architects. She received an M.Arch from Columbia University and BFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute.
David is a principal at Das Studio. He is a ARB (UK) registered architect with 30 years of architectural, interior, and garden design work in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He has experience in healthcare, affordable and special needs housing, residential new construction, and renovation and work on Listed Buildings. He recieved a MA from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK and a BA from Leicester Polytechnic School of Architecture.
John is a NYS Certified Interior Designer with more than 30 years of professional experience. He is president of John A. Buscarello, Inc. and his design work has been published internationally. He graduated from Adelphi University, summa cum laude with a BA in Art History and Studio Art and also studied design at FIT. Interior Design magazine named him a "Kitchen & Bath Design Leader." He was a awarded a Medalist citation for his outstanding dedication and work for ASID. Publications include: Interior Design, The New York Times, New York Spaces, House Beautiful, many books as well.
Jason is the principal of Studio T+L, LLC. With over 20 years of experience as an architectural and theatrical lighting designer and theatre consultant, he has designed projects ranging from 99 seat black box theatres to 4,100 seat municipal theatres. His architectural lighting design encompasses high-end retail, university libraries, performing arts, and corporate facilities. He was awarded a 2012 Award of Merit by the IES for relighting the University Church at Fordham University and a 2003 Lumen Award by the New York Section of the IES for his work on Rewarding Lives for American Express in New York City. His work has been profiled in Lighting & Sound America, Lighting Design + Application, Design Bureau, and Architectural SSL.
