United States Veterans
NYSID is proud to have United States Veterans among its student body and alumni, most having taken advantage of the education benefit programs offered by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). For information on GI Bill benefits visit the VA website.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) has launched a Web site to promote the new GI Bill. It is a resource center for veterans to learn about their hard-earned education benefits. It includes an interactive benefits calculator based on zip code, answers to Frequently Asked Questions, and the latest news and information about the new GI Bill as it goes into effect. Visit: GI Bill for more information.
