Panel of design industry leaders share knowledge at NYSID

New York, NY - October 2009 - A panel of six industry leaders from the worlds of interior design and architecture gathered at New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) on Wednesday, October 21 to share their collective knowledge and offer advice to students and recent alumni.

The event, Defining Your Design Career: Ask the Experts, was hosted by NYSID President Christopher J. Cyphers and consisted of  a discussion and a question and answer session with six leaders in the interior design industry.  Jamie Drake, Principal, Drake Design Associates, served as moderator for the evening.  

The panel consisted of Crans Baldwin, President & CEO of Donghia, Inc. and Bergamo Fabrics, Penny Bonda, Partner, Ecoimpact Consulting, Maureen Footer, Principal, Maureen Footer Design, Jamie Johnson, Principal, Jamie Johnson Consulting,  Charlotte Moss, Principal, Charlotte Moss, and Gregory Stanford, Principal, Rockwell Group.  During the well-attended 90 minute event, panelists shared design career tips and insider knowledge on a variety of topics ranging from effective resumé writing to starting your own business.
